Founder of Common Ground Montgomery, Bryan Kelly believes he has been called to serve the disadvantaged. He first did this in becoming part of the fabric of Montgomery’s Washington Park community for the purpose of its transformation, and then in starting the outdoor camp venture that is Onawa. It didn’t take long for him to figure out that it wouldn’t just be the transformation of the community, but his own as well as all the stakeholders and supporters who have gotten involved over the years with CGM.

Bryan was a collegiate baseball player and served on staff with Campus Outreach at Troy University after graduating. He later earned his Masters in Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary and has focused on launching various non-profits that provide support and platforms for strong minority leadership development while serving under-resourced pockets in the city.

He also teaches and trains churches and groups that desire to learn how to love well across boundaries and to recognize our blind spots that stand in the way of effective care for our neighbors.
