map/ mercy house
Initially, the Mercy House was a former initiative of New Walk of Life Church and CGM that became it’s own 501(c)(3) non-profit in October 2018.
Under the leadership of New Walk of Life Church, the Mercy House and several other initiatives were put under the umbrella of MAP to create pathways of hope that redirect lives and rebuild community.
The Mercy House is a day shelter, providing a food pantry, clothes closet, showers, and washing machines.
Along with the Mercy House, MAP expanded to now include the MAP Center (provides adult education resources, as well as a satellite location for Trenholm State Community College), the Pathway House (providing a business center and legal clinics), the Manna House (providing food support), and the Youth Navigation Program & Summer Enrichment Program.
