Renovation Help (CAMPSITE LOCATION)
We need skilled and unskilled volunteers/ teams to come out and help us clean up trash and debris, demo some interiors of structures, cut grass, fix roads, renovate buildings and cabins, etc, at our retreat center property near Verbena (40 minutes from downtown Montgomery). We have huge carpenter and tiler needs as well!

About Volunteering with CGM
We have individuals and large groups that come from across the country; from college students from California and Oklahoma, to high school students in Ohio and boarding school students from Connecticut, and church groups from Florida and Georgia, we get a pretty diverse group of people that visit and volunteer while spending time in Alabama’s capital. Some are civic groups, some are college students’ Spring or Winter break trips, and some are just folks on a Civil Rights or social justice tour of Montgomery, Alabama.
You can also request a tour of our community and our facility when you come to volunteer. Volunteer information below is for the Montgomery/ Onawa location only.
