givingtuesday is here!

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. When so much attention is given to what divides us, generosity brings people together across races, faiths, and political views.

During this year's GivingTuesday event, please consider giving to Common Ground Montgomery. We started in 2006 with sports teams' bible studies that turned into an after school program, summer camps, and mentoring. The Mercy House and House to House spun off of us to become their own nonprofit organizations. Two former college interns of ours started their own Common Ground organizations in the cities they love. We have had volunteer groups and interns come from across the country.

We continue to be a vehicle for change and inspiration because of generous supporters like yourself. Help us continue to serve the beautiful people of west Montgomery by getting involved or donating today in honor of GivingTuesday!
